The Challenger just looks so much better than the update to this Camaro, the sales will be better for the 18 now but the Challenger is going to walk all over this design even more than the 18. It does look like a Manta Ray wow.

Terrible.
Let’s make it look like the old Malibu and slap a giant bow tie on it. Is this someone’s way of ensuring there will be no 7th gen

No wonder
I found a dead A23 battery today in the house and suddenly "had to" drive to (a not particularly close) Home Depot to pick up another one in my lunch break... just looking at the 2018 2SS makes me smile even before pushing the start button and hearing the sweet rumble. Trying hard to like this new design, but it still feels hideous, and now with those highway pics the taillights appeal even less to me. No engine power bump, which is a bit of a downer. Updates to the electronics are okay, although I have little to no trouble with rear visibility, don't care much about forward collision warning, and the new "phone-like" UI design for mylink isn't much love lost with me either. Honestly, the only thing I have a bit of remorse about is the A10, but I couldn't wait... and it's all right, the A8 is pretty good, I have a great dealer and the warranty will cover the issues, if any. It is actually slowly getting better over time, it seems to learn my shift preferences and this 8L90 doesn't have the lurch issue that the 8L45 pestered me with every time I entered an incline at slow speed (say, our driveway...)

I don’t like it one bit. It’s too busy. I know retro is dying, but this is a fugly duckling. Maybe I’ll change when I see one up close but I’ll keep my 2011 SS/RS. It’s timeless.

I said in the past on this forum that some cars look the best the way they currently were/are and will get worse in the future. The Mustang 6th gen, Camaro 6th gen and C7 corvette/z06 look almost perfect. They will look worse with a redesign.
This Camaro looks good and will grow on people once you see it driving. I still think the current design is better though. As for the Charger, the Charget Scat Pack/SRT is the best looking muscle car in the market along with the current Camaro. |

Nah. Maybe I'm one of the 3, but I think everyone here who takes the time to post about the refresh the day it's announced is more than aware of the -15% driving off the dealer lot in a new car and the other -20% after the first couple k miles. It really is very ugly, or at least going in a direction many enthusiasts don't fancy. All that said, sales weren't exactly stellar, so I understand that they are trying to reach new demographics with the feline Euro look, it just doesn't speak to me the way the current Gen6 design does.

The original 6th gen looks like a coherent design, one that looks aggressive from the front to the back, and does it well. The refreshed 6th gen looks like some parts were designed by one team, while other parts were designed by another team. It does not look like one coherent design.
