Most likely the mod potential. Stock for stock, I would rather take a NA V8. Driving experience will be very similar so why add the complexity of forced induction? But if you plan to mod, I imagine you probably could get more power for less money out of the turbo V6 vs a NA V8.

Agree on the V8. It is one of the main reasons the Camaro has such an iconic past and appeal. If they decided to replace the V8 with a turbo V6 in the future, I don't know how I'd feel about losing the classic V8 sound just for a platform that allows for more responsive modding. I keep my cars relatively stock these days, and like a relatively quick car without going to the point of unreliability.

What if the new "turbo Camaro" engine is a turbo V8???? And they put it in the new Z28?

Nothing on colors or drivetrain. I would love that orange, and seriously, the real C7R pearl yellow tint would be awesome. Heck, I saw a color pretty close on a Ford Focus 2 or 3 years ago!!! I still have a 2002 Collector Trans Am. Not thrilled with that yellow either......I sell Silverados for a living.....white.....white.......silver.....white. ...silver.....That Orange we had on Silverado in 2001 and 2015 was IT!!!! Can't believe they waited 15 years,,,,,then canceled it after 6 months.....

Turbo 6 would be awesome but I again question it because it will literally be knocking on the door of SS territory in price and power... I'm just not sure how that could economically work.

If they did do a turbo 6 which I doubt it, it would be a much smaller displacement 6 like a 2.5 with small turbos like an ecoboost and making current 3.6 numbers with more torque.

I don't get everyone's excitement over a turbo V6. Tough to beat 455 hp/455 tq on pure displacement without the complexity and extra heat of turbos.

Not to mention nothing sounds - or feels - quite like a GM small block at idle

I like a little vibration when I'm at a red light

I'd be pretty excited to see a 565-hp TT V6 in a Camaro. If Nissan can do it, why not GM? 😎
