Help with A/S Staggered VS Squared. Also Different Profiles.

Hello. I just purchased a 1LE. Love this car!!!! Hate I waited so long to get a camaro in general.

Need help in the tire department and looking into an all season tire.

I was looking into BFGoodrich Comp 2 A/S Staggered. 275/35/20 in the front 285/35/20 in the rear. I believe it may be a stretch for the rear but doesn't the 5th Gen 1LE have the same rim size with stock 285 tires? If this setup was ok would it be better to go squared and do 285 in the front to or would the profile rub?

If I can't go with those I was looking into Nitto Motivo 295/30/20 Squared.

Not a direct answer but I run the 285/35/20 on my SS. It's a 9.5" wide wheel and fits perfectly fine.

Curious O.P., why your looking into smaller tires than stock? Your O.E. set up is 285/30R20 and 305/30R20. Maybe some more info on what your goal is might help. Planning getting different wheels too? Wanting to just use the O.E. wheels/tires for track event, but get something else for the street? That kind of stuff...

I assume you are buying different wheels for the car to do the square setup. Because you cannot just put same size tires on these rims and start rotating the tires.

I would not do 275F and 285R. What sense would that make. Just do 275 or 285 square setup. I would do 275 square myself. If you want all season then I would recommend Continental DWS 06

I did the MRR 017 20X10 on all four corners with General G-max AS-05 (275/35-20).

Are your front rims the 23mm offset?
I am wanting to run that size tire also in the front with the 20x10 rims with 23mm offset. I plan on moving the wire harness on the back wheelwell for the 20x11 with 43mm offset 315/35/20 which I believe fits.
I have a stock height SS.
