C7 Z06s have been as fast as 10.4 on stock rubber/bone stock. But no one is calling a C7 Z06 a low-mid 10 second car in stock form. They call it a high 10 second car and it rips mid 10s every once in a while. The Z06 was claimed to be a 10.9 second car and it has gone as fast as 10.4 and most owners can easily hit 10.8s or faster. The C7 ZR1 is claimed as a 10.6. Watch how C7 ZR1 owners reliably run 10.6, hero runs as low as 10.0 or maybe even 9s, and most owners coming in the 10.4-10.5 range. 6th gen ZL1s were claimed to be 11.4 second cars, and yet owners have been 10s and 11.0-11.1 with regularity. Hellcats I believe were claimed to be 11.5 second cars and yet they can run 10s regularly enough.

The Demon is a claimed 9.6 car. So far, no one can come close. That's what I call marketing BS. Just like I did on day one.

So... its not 9s stock.

I haven't read all the comments but just saying that most people, auto or not, have no idea how to drive a 9 sec car in to the 9's that can only be taken in to the 9's by an experienced driver. in this video the demon was NOT on race gas tune, and in another video despite what the paper says...... I have seen dyno numbers on the demon where boostane added to 93 has added 90hp over the regular tune setting. the race gas tune makes a big difference.

But take the price difference between demon and ZL1 and put it in to mods to make it an equal financial battle........ZL1 wins lol

To me and any another car collector it would consider that box still stock as its an optional component designed for the car and ordered for a $1, as if no one would order it.

This car really is so special that this box doesnt fit the same mold as most other cars, but it is only for the demon.

No it's not ordered through parts. You call dodge 48 hours after delivery to make sure the paperwork is filed under your name and they send the crate and badge with your name on it. The crate is assigned to the car before it's sold, it just can't be personalized till the car is officially sold.

Well, they are on the Demon only when you can order them as optional equipment. On the Camaro or any other car in the world they are not ,because they can't be odered as optional equipment. I dont see how that is hard for you guys to understand.

You guys must really be butthurt over this car with trying to justify your silly argument here.

Put Dr's and Skinnies on your ZL1 all day. Not stock no matter what you say. Chevy doesnt offer them for the Camaro or anything optional to get it to 900HP. Sorry.

This is why this car is so special. You either get or you don't. . I get it and think it's awesome that a Company does this. You guys wouldn't be saying any of this if GM would have a Camaro version done in the same fashion.
