Exhaust Question - Kooks to Speed Engineering

Good morning everyone! I'm in the process of buying some kooks headers and wanted to install the speed engineering x-pipe at the same time. My question is this, do I need to buy the kooks off road connection pipes or will the speed engineering piece include that?

You need the connection pipe, otherwise there will be a gap where the cats should be.

I'm would like to do this also but am thinking you still are going to need some kind of way for them to mate up I believe kooks pipes are 2.75 and the speed engineering x pipe is 3"

I’m in the process of doing this. Per Kooks you need this connection https://www.kooksheaders.com/exhaust-pipe-14149.html . It’s made for a 10-15 Camaro but will work for this application. Two options, cut flared end off of the speed engineering connections and then weld it to the Kooks connections . Or leave the flared end on the speed engineering x pipe and cut down the Kooks connection if room allows, both ways will need a little trimming to fit. This is for a off road set up, I’m sure they may have a catted set up like this too or they can make it.
