Anyone use egt?
Just curious if anyone has done any EGT monitoring during tuning. Would be interesting both for ring longevity for lt1 stock blocks, and just good for comparing to like ls EGT (di vs port)
And let's not forget the real good ones like for e85, e50, meth, water meth... Want to see if anyone has any data for future reference. I know I will want egt on my headers so. Last edited by boostednut; 03-28-2018 at 12:19 AM. |

I use them on higher end tunes I do.... (8 port monitoring with a Racepak System)
Its really fun to dial it in. However on a street car, if a person is going to spend the $$$$$ it takes for a nice 8 port EGT system, well they should just put that money towards a good set of pistons and rods first. Just my .02 |

Just another to give some perspective when dialing the meth. Most people don't run EGT. It's in my eyes the best way to setup a car... I wish you guys were here in California! Cunningham is great but they're like 4.5 hours away rip. |
