Most welcome. If I get a free minute tonight after work I will look up the info and post it here.

Before I spend the money on changing out the bowties, which I am not really convinced I want to do anyway, does anyone know of a vinyl option that I can use to cover my gold bowties for a couple weeks to "dry run" the look? I saw kits out there where I could buy the vinyl and cut myself, but I'd rather not risk damage to the gold ones if possible...

Hey Bill! You could try Phastek, BigWorm Graphics, 6LE Designs (maybe). They usually have precut bowtie vinyl overlays. Or even eBay.

I couldn’t remember off the top of my head if they had precut vinyl overlays for the bowties. I know they have big vinyl graphics.

I take it they don’t do good business? I’ve never dealt with them so I don’t know.

I do know Phastek and BigWorm are two stand up companies.

They both have great reputations, I've dealt with BigWorm personally. There are more than a few threads about 6LE D.

Yeah I’ve dealt with Phastek direct/personally. How I got my led reverse lights before Fest.

And BigWorm has treated my local club well.

Noted. Will add 6LE to the list.

I had already checked on Phastek (I've bought several things from them) and BWG. Neither had them. Forgot about 6LE, but looked and they don't have either. Will check eBay. Thanks!

I ordered the black carbon fiber vinyl overlay on ebay just to see if it was easier then painting them and/or before investing in some that were already painted. I paid something like $7 bucks for 2 sheets of it and as I recall, it was enough for 4 emblems. At least for now, I like the look and they have been on the car for about 6 months without issue. Install was pretty easy with the right tools, heat gun and a box knife with several new razor blades loaded. Good Luck!

Well.. ummm....

As Adam knows.. I had a recent issue with the unintended removal of my driver side rocker panel - although I'm sure that curb intended to remove it, I didn't. Anyways, I'm home now ( dealer never replied to my emails Adam - but thank you very much for the suggestion) and thinking about options.

I can order an oem one to replace . - - - orrr... perhaps something like this? Thoughts? ever heard of these guys?
