Tires

Hey guys, I know this has probably been beat to death but since people have had all different kinds of tires, I wanted to get everyone’s opinions. Still on my first set but those are coming to an end. I want a tire that’ll last a little longer. I know I’ll give up some grip on the track but I’m not looking to break any records with my car. I daily drive it as well

I know it seems daunting to buy an extra set of wheels an tires, but it honestly is the cheapest option if you keep the car for any significant length of time. I run standard SS wheels (20x8.5 & 20x9.5) with General G-Max AS-05s 255/35 & 275/35 tires. The whole setup including the tpms sensors mounting and balancing and the TPMS reprogram tool from amazon.

So now I have the 50k mile daily driver setup and my Summer/Track&AutoX set.

I think for summer use and a longer street life the go to tire is the Michelin Pilot super sports.

Actually it's Michelin PS4's.
Thanks ZL1 1LE.

Aren't those old technology and being phased out by the PS4?

Any fitment issues with the standard SS wheels on the 1LE? Spacers needed or anything? When you say you got the whole setup on amazon, that include wheels? If so, are they reps? Seems like just reps come up on Amazon. Bombardment of questions because I am interested and may run a similar winter setup, not attacking!

Those are probably the ones I meant.
Good catch.
I knew it was Michelins that were good replacements for street use, just forgot the new model name.
