I think the saying is if you are getting over 17 mpg you are doing it wrong.....

It's bad enough to have to pay a gas guzzler tax. But what really irks me is, because it's part of the MSRP, I get to pay sales tax, on a gas guzzler tax.

I drove home briskly last night under the cover of darkness on a very smooth and open stretch of highway. 20 miles and I burned just under a 1/4 tank. This car deserves a gas guzzler tax when used as intended and I gladly paid such tax.
