Hey when your installing can you check if the thermostat they provided you looks like the stock one with the seal on the front? I got one different than the stock type and been have a p0128 code ever since even after 2 canned tune revisions... the Whipple rep that posted on here when I posted the question swears it’s the right one.

Agree the Magnuson manual is way better, couple of things to look out for:

I Used Whipple’s recommended ngk 2315 which I think is 2 steps colder? Gapped to 32 thous and was causing random misfire under light load and idle, opened to 35 thous and issue went away

Pressure check the heat exchange and inter coolers, my heat exchange had a pin size hole discovered after installing and pressurized causing me having to take it back apart.

Some of the bolt for the coolant pump mount where not the right size thread (metric vs sae?) having to run to hardware store

Replace your front crank seal - ez while your there

Check shipping prices if Whipple needs to ship you something, I asked for next day shipping on a set of oring and was charged $62... insane and robbery

Overall very friendly staff and helpfull at their office, just feel the quality control is lacking

Still waiting on my cel about my thermostat to be fixed, was just going to run a canned tune for a while untill I pull the engine and upgrade fuel next year but I’m left to think I should just get a tune and stop using their stock tune
