I agree the Clamps are kind of shitty.. I ordered a few off amazon $9.00 and they are much better get a better bite on the seal.

Half the fun of modding is Fixing the shit we mess up lol...
Don't mod if you are not willing to tinker to get it right, Especially when buying inexpensive parts...

I have to ask how many miles have you put on the car since the install im curious if itll mess with the power of the car withough having the tune yet.
its quiet enough when driving normal, The Drone from the MBRP setup is a little much for me with this combination as it sits, I have zero restrictions so while it sounds like a BEAST when I give it the stuff its a little unrefined when I am shifting around. I will try and make a video later today when I am driving around.

I drove this morning and I am getting a slight rubbing vibration on the steering wheel when turning right going to be ordering a replacement bolt asap.

So for anyone thinking about buying these... there is a slight vibration on the steering shaft and I don’t think it’s the bolts (bought shorter ones anyways so will verify this) seems to be rubbing on the shaft itself.

Sent these to speed engineering as they asked me to do will update you guys.

Keeping it real so there are no surprises (nothing a hammer can’t fix )

This reminds me of the good ole days with my GTO. Headers wrapped around the shaft. Most had to be dimpled for clearance.

lmfao... Im going to try a few other things first but this is definitely a possibility.
I will measure the exact area I am having the clearance issue so anyone who has bought these can modify before going in.

That’s what this forum is about brother, we all make each other spend money keeping up and we help each other with issues along the way!

Hopefully someone comes up with a solution. Having m6 stabilitrak off and no park assist is getting annoying.
Plus having to listen to that grinding noise is even worse.

Unfortunately I’m going to have to drop the entire header in order to get the proper clearance to make the adjustments needed.

I am going to measure out the space and modify the header but I do not think I’m going to reinstall them as I have decided that I do not want to tune my car associating myself with a shop only brings drama into my life lol long story and remote tunes are not the answer. Plus not having cats was awesome when I was 20 not so much now in my 30’s lol how time changes us all....

Ordered a borla 60606 midpipe and Corsa Extreme setup should be plenty loud and will not require a tune.

If anyone wants to purchase my setup I will make you a killer deal prefer local meet ups but will ship at buyers expense.
