I ordered one last weekend, only been a week but they seem to know nothing this time, last time I got the status updates from them and it moved quickly for my 2016 2SS 1 month was built and delivered.

I can’t even find a white ZL1 in ontario period for sale that’s why I wanted to order one. I don’t mind waiting a bit but a whole year would have me looking at other options.

Same for me.

My dealer did not have an allocation in september, but the dealer owner told me I had a good chance to get one. One month later the dealer told me that it was accepted by GM. I asked for proof and don’t get any.

I guess they don’t have an allocation and wish to waste my time until I buy a Corvette... lol

Sorry for sounding bitter. I wanted a ZL1 and now it’s mars and my hopes of driving something else than my GT is dying slowly.

Maybe I should just mod the freak out of it.

If its accepted by GM the dealer can show it. 1100 status is not picked up or accepted.

If they dont have an email from their regional reps and it clearly states if the dealer gets a ZL1 or ZL1 1LE, they dont get the ZL1 for 2018. MY dealer showed the email before we put in the order.

Yes, that’s the way it should be! Most dealers are playing games in the hopes that GM decides to build more.

I don't know about their Camaro sales. My local dealer did not get allocation so I went through a friend in our Camaro group who was a salesman at a dealership 800 kms away. I know I have allocation....just the waiting is unbearable. I would like to take advantage of the 6 mos free onstar and Sirius....must have car in May to do so.

Proof of allocation form my dealers regional rep:

"Good news - The dealership will be able to order and receive One (1) 2018 MY Camaro ZL1 coupe (not with the 1LE package). The order bank will open and be available sometime during the week of June 5th. There is a sequence (Dealer ranking) list developed by National. Distribution will follow this pre-determined sequence when releasing orders however timing and placement of orders can impact this sequence. This may result in some orders being released and built earlier than dictated by the list. Vehicles for Canada will be build either late summer 2017 or spring 2018. I do not know when your customer’s order will get released into the system but as more information comes available, I will let you know."

Just a waiting game.

It sounds like you will be good to go come late Spring. Awesome. I don’t take mine out of Storage until mid April anyway. Enjoy!
