How did you do it??
I laser scanned all the letters, then printed them on paper to ensure the calibration setting were perfect. Once done, I used flexible yellow vinyl and the printer sliced them out.

Then the fun part began by using tire rubber adhesive and carefully placed them on the tire. For that work I did have to remove the tires off the car and work on a level surface. I would estimate it took me 90 minutes to mount the vinyl letters on all four tires.

Years ago, my racing buddies used oil based inks and we hand painted the lettering on the tires. Our sponsors love that we did that to their tires. They look good but always required touch up. Today, with the variety of vinyl and synthetic products on the market, I suspect they will be maintenance free.

Did you save the file that you used to cut the vinyl? I would love to get some of these made.

Yeah real track cars have large wheels, sticky tires, big brakes with 2 piece rotors, powerful engine, top notch suspension, great seats, oversize cooling systems, massive oil capacity, full gauge package, data acquisition, etc.
