ls7 Lifters

I have the GMPP Heads cam setup and at 12,xxx miles it messed up a couple lifters, now at 23,xxx miles its starting to tick again. the kit uses stock lifters. my question should I replace them with ls7 lifters.

did You leave all original lifters? Or you replaced only the afm ones to match the others?

I would at the minimum swap in the LS7 lifters. If it's in your budget I'd try an go a step higher or two if possible.

Yeah I mean people have run more aggressive cams on ls7 lifters with success. Don’t see how you can go wrong

GM uses GM LS7 lifters when they do their GMPP heads and cam kit. No need to replace what is already there.

I WAS THE FIRST TO GET THIS KIT PUT ON AND THERE WAS NO OPTION FOR LS7 LIFTERS AT THAT TIME, MAYBE THEY HAVE IDENTIFIED THIS AS A PROBLEM AND ARE MAKING THEM STANDARD NOW.
