New NX Lid Blower Whine Video

Just a quick video on the way to drop my son off to school.

Crazy difference compared to the stock Lt4 lid. I didn't get too heavy into boost. I just wanted to post up how loud the NX lid makes the blower. It's freaking gorgy. Keep in mind I do have the Rotofab and TM TB so. Plus, I have upper and lower pulley done, so it's spinning more than normal. Not sure if that is enhancing it or not. But good lord. I freaking love it.

Now if you would just spend $15 for a mirror tap for that detector, all would be good!

Yea, as mentioned, it's almost Kenne Bell type whine. I'm super digging it so far. haha. Now my mileage per g is going to decrease even further now.

I installed my NX blower lid yesterday. OMG the additional blower whine is insane! I am a M6 car and can even hear my blower whining during down shift coasting. I am over driving my blower with a 9.55 lower and 2.3 upper so it is even worse.

I am assuming that the plate and other things in the top of the factory lid are for sound control. I could see the sound level of the NX lid would bother the "normal" daily driver owner of a ZL1, but us performance junkies, not so much.

Is there any performance gain with just installing the lid itself?

In my case, I wanted more Blower sound, plus I will add laughing gas after I kiss my warranty good-bye!
Extra HP stock would probably be minimal, but IMHO, with ported snout, TB, plus CAI, pulleys, etc, it will benefit when tuned.
