I've seen my fair of that on the GM side too. Not to the degree you mentioned but similar. I used to frequent the G8 Board (Really wanted the G8 ST to become reality lol) They would always say how they never had any trouble with any Mustang. So I invited numerous times for them to come to the track and let's line them up and crickets LOL. funny how when someone says fine lets go line them up the other side gets quiet

We all own cool hot rods, yet were still fighting like children. Why is it most Camaro members have to bash mustangs and vs versa, can't we be happy for fords accomplishments?

Every company is known to stretch the truth a little bit, this is business. They eventually did reveal all the mods, the story should have ended there.

This is too funny. Mr. Gossip Squirrel likes to stir up the Camaro folks.

I will say that when he is driving the S550 (which is really Gossip Squirrels car, not the person posting), he has taken down my current SS I think every time. But that is not saying I never beat the bolt-on S550 GT he is speaking of. With the REAL Gossip squirrel driving it's a drivers race. Those are the most fun.

Mr. Squirrel can drive and he keeps telling me he can beat my times if I let him drive my car. I believe him. But I have learned by the school of hard knocks, never let a Mustang driver pedal your fast Camaro. That does not turn out so well.

Even after 100s of runs I still can't launch consistent 60's with my M6. But .0something lights come easy for me. But if I am trying to launch the car my lights are all over the place. As it should be I guess. Someday I will get the hang of it! Or maybe get a ZL1 so I can bog at the line even longer.

No. Acting like children is fun. Keeps you young at heart. And plus, it's just the net. I can't stand Mustang fanboys. But, I have a few friends that own Mustangs in real life. They don't act like the trolls who continue to come over here and run their mouth. It's all fun in games anyways. Even my friends have admitted that they bought the wrong car after getting smacked down by my Zl1. But, they are die hards and will NEVER buy a Camaro. So, I'll continue kicking their ass on the streets.

Yea, he was okay, his son the DR. sewed up the cut on his arm at the track and he was as good as new.

I am sure he is a good driver and has a fast Mustang. But he lost all respect when he said that nobody in the Tri-State area would race him. That was a pretty stupid comment to make.

Such a shame. I would hate to lose all that money put into a car in this way. This is why nobody drives my cars but me.

Yes, I learned that lesson the hard way. But I came out of this okay. I knew when I spent it the $$ I would never get much of it back. And now trying to decide whether to dump more money into my SS or just get another one.
