I get about 24-27 rising as RPMs climb at WOT. With the stock tune with the stock E85 adjustment tables its a couple degrees lower than that.
I've tried to read research papers on the topic on proper timing for alcohol and haven't really got a good answer. Basically sometimes it requires more and sometimes less. GM seems to think the same way based on their alcohol adder table. But if you actually look at a flex fuel truck engine tunes, its all over the place, but the flex fuel adder for the trucks is about adding 5-10 degrees at WOT but actually pulling 4 or 5 degrees at low load. |
