Boosted M6's please share your tuning woes

Went to track yesterday and car is just not wanting to put the power to the pavement. (Decent launch but feels like it falls flat on it's face down the strip)
I don't have any tuning software to see what's going on but I hear the M6's have clutch protection as well as other nannies built into the ECU that can really hold the car back.

Like wtf I buy this $8k "bolt on and go" supercharger kit and it's turned my car into a Dyno queen.
Anyone else have problems with this ?

Your complete time slips would help. A way to monitor you engine with data log would also help like an N-Gauge.

I strongly suspect the nannies are holding the car back even with traction control turned off

Why would the nannies be kicking in at the end? I would suspect something with traction control or clutch protection would kill your launch, not your top end.

Changing gear at wot can trigger a drop in timing
I can literally feel the power drop off

woah some of you guys need to get a second opinion on your tune...

If you're dropping timing right after a shift something isn't right.

That being said; There is a VERY well known bog issue on launch with high HP 6gens (including the ZL1)... AL's response to our inquiry was sort of nonchalantly saying "you guys aren't clutching it right" but the reality is the car doesn't let you dump on slicks and go. There is a sweet spot between too slow and too fast that apparently gets you off the line properly (i don't know anyone who has found it)

Some here and there have stated that the car has a torque management table that is locked which causes this. Last I heard HP tuners was "working on it"

But this is specific to Launch. Any timing being cut during WOT shifts is likely knock retard. Not insulting you in case it sounds like that lol

What traction mode were you in? Stabilitrack or traction off Long press (no stabilitrack no traction control)

Something is definitely wrong with your setup brother...

I can't get traction to save my life with slightly more HP on NT555G2s. 1st gear, useless, second gear trash to the point where i lose it at the top of second sometimes, 3rd gear I'm playing reel in the fish, 4th gear go baby go.

I've lit the tires up in 3rd. Can't think of what would cause you to not be able to spin 2nd in those trash eagles other than an issue that needs to be addressed

Hold down the traction control button for 10 seconds and turn everything off. See if that helps at all. If not, could be a tuning issue.

This is not a launching issue. This is an extreme loss in power on the topend. My trap speeds were about what I ran stock. I am just trying to see if any other M6's dealt with this

I think Chevy was discussing how to use the clutch to maximize launch control. But they sort of admitted the bog was planned.

Are you NLS? I believe NLS will drop RPM/power. I believe Pray mentioned something about not liking the NLS function and possibly disabling it or modifying the table.
