Knowing what you know now...would you...?
Just thinking about how much I've learned in the year and a half since I bought the 2016 SS. Loved it, but wanted a more performance oriented ride, so I bought the 1LE. I love it also...but knowing what I know now about these cars, and seeing so many combos of colors/options/mods, etc, part of me wishes I had just bought a nightfall gray 1ss a8 then did a blower, exhaust, tune, and tires.
Know what I mean? What would you buy if you had it to do all over again?

I'd get MRC. I got everything else that I wanted on the car when I bought it. As a semi-solution, I went away from the stock tires which helped with the ride and road noise. I went with the SS at the time so that I would not feel the need to mod the car other than some graphics and that has been the case.

I think I did it right. Bought a 50 Anniversary 2SS with MRC and NPP and all other stuff. I would do it again.

Got the 2SS Loaded and love it. But knowing what I know... I would try to convince my wife we need the ZL1. More HP please.

I’m actually going the other direct and am talking to a deal now about trading for a 2SS 1LE in black. Not 100% sure yet.

Yeah, I think I would have (2SS, NGM, MRC, NPP, no sunroof - searched and searched til I found one)... maybe would have held out for the A10. But honestly, have had no issues with my A8... and it's a very small percentage that have had issues with the A8 (always sounds worse on Internet forums than it is on the whole, have learned this after 20yrs of participating on various forums). As for the A10, I can't imagine all the shifts. And would love to have the M6 IF i didn't drive in so much traffic - been there, done that!
While the HP of the ZL1 was tempting, a supercharged Camaro was not for me - great for the guys that like it, but for me I want a NA motor in an American sports/muscle car. I'll mod if/when I decide I "need" more power. I'm 46 & have been a Camaro fan since I was 7-8yrs old, so I thought about buying one since the 5th gens came out - even rented one for a weekend, but wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. So waited a few years and thought about buying a used one to mod. But then drove a 6th gen and it was all over but the paperwork! Haha |

Love my car and have no regrets. If doing over i may have looked a little harder for a krypton green 1le.

Exactly my thoughts too!!!! Other than that, I wish that I would NOT have paid for the NPP exhaust! I’m just going to end up changing it anyway!!!

I bought a CPO 2SS Fifty with NPP and a few other things. Having put 4k miles on it in the last few weeks (I like to take new (to me) vehicles on shake down road trips when I first get them), there are only a few things that come to mind for an "if I knew then that I know now" type of question.
1) I'm glad I got the NPP exhaust. It can be quiet(ish) when I want it to be (i.e. not wake up the neighbors when I start it in the garage, leaving for work at 6 AM). 2) I should've paid more attention to the RPO codes to make sure this one had MRC. Although, the suspension that came on it is fine. I just keep wishing this one had a "comfort" mode for some of the rougher streets in the area. I haven't driven one with MRC, though (and I plan to keep it that way for now), so I'm not sure what I'm REALLY "missing." 3) Opening the sunroof (which had been a must-have on most of the vehicles I've had in the last dozen-plus years) has barely crossed my mind. So, if I were to get another one, I'd probably consider skipping the sunroof.
