Elite catch can install

Anyone have good pictures of how you hooked in the lines?

The Elite website has nothing about the can on the V6, only the clean side, and the can that's shown in the pictures for the clean side doesn't even mount the same way as the can I received from them.

I've got that hard plastic line that runs from the rear of the engine to the intake tube, and before I start trying to remove that from the tube I want to know if anyone has suggestions for how they did it. The lack of instructions from EE is quite frustrating to be honest.

Thanks.

Thanks Kirk, I've watched that in the past. So you just cut the hard line from the rear of the engine to the intake and spliced it in? I'm guessing that's what I'm going to end up doing eventually.

For the bolt where you mounted the can mounting arm, do you know the torque value or did you just go until it felt good? I assume you just have the sound tube pressed out of the way and not secured?

Thanks for the info, and the video. It's helped so far.

Yes you are just putting the can inline.

I just tightened the can bolt til it was snug. It has stayed tight.

Yes I just moved the sound tube around. I think it is secure where I tucked it.

I picked up a little extra hose in 5/8” and got it done. Thanks for the video, just knowing where to place it helped a lot.

LOL, pretty sure i did it right lmao. I empty the valve every 2k or so miles and get a little bit of dirty oil.

You have to drill and tape the manifold on the v6?

Think he did that because he has a 2 port can. I always thought 2 ports where more for boosted applications.
