Finally made the a appointment to get full bolt ons and E85 done!

I’m the typical working class stiff who decided to buy a gen6 SS as a secondary vehicle. Well there went a solid chunk of my monthly disposable income. Last year I was able to get an awesome deal on a set of Kooks headers (cat delete) and Roto-fab dry filter CAI. I was able to also get an E85 flex fuel kit. All this while paying for a family vacation to the Bahamas and my oldest daughter deciding to go to the more expensive local college instead of the much more affordable one (she’s paying for part of it). I’ve been sitting on these parts for too long now. I’ve finally put the deposit down and made the appointment with HPA to have my headers, E85 flex fuel, and CAI installed as well as having them port the intake and throttle body. I’m having them do a baseline as well to see true before and after gains. I’ve had the headers a year and it’s been killing me. I’m so stoked to finally get this done.

Hoping for a solid 60/60 rear wheel gains.

For next winter/spring the goal is to have wheels & tires, suspension, and some very minor cosmetic things done. The following winter/spring the goal is cam and heads.

That’s an awesome scholarship, and kudos to her for earning it. My daughter is going for her degree in Athletic Sciences with hopes to be accepted into a local Physical Therapist program. She is currently receiving a scholarship that covers about 1/3 of her tuition. We are paying 1/3 and her books. She is responsible for the other 1/3 (student loans).

I intend to become a crusty oldman and make their lives a living hell in a few years as "payback"... actively working on dementia now.

The PT degree usually goes to the doctorate level as terminal. The payback is unbelievably good as the income is high but the insurance cost, office outlay and lawsuits are much lower vs say a surgeon.

With full bolt ons, E85 and a good set of PS4 Michelins out back I took a hellcat to 120ish. Then insanity hit.

For FBO I did the 102mm Kartech TB, MSD ported by me, 1 and 7/8 kooks, off road pipes, e85, EFI-tune, Mishimoto's "fixed" CAI. Probably just about equal to your build in peak HP, probably less torque on my build, of course, my build's parts cost way more.... but I did the labor myself.

Yeah, the local PT program is a doctorate degree. Right as she gets done with that is when my other daughter will be going into college (yay me). She really looked into becoming an Athletic Trainer, which most programs are now a masters. Problem is that there’s a tenth the AT positions and the pay is 2/3rds that if a PT.

I’m definitely looking forward to getting this stuff out on. I did cat-back exhaust the day after I brought the car home. I am a little worried that with the exhaust I currently have that the headers without cats is going to be a bit too much. If it is then I’ll just have the shop weld in some resonators.
