What are modded Camaros going for

I hardly ever get on here anymore, but I was browsing this section to see what the market looks like. What are modded Camaros actually selling for? Now that we have baby number 2 on the way, I am thinking about getting a CTS-V. I'm pretty fond of my car though. We have spent many hours together and thinking of letting it go is kind of tough ha ha

Who did the engine work and tuning? How many miles of use on the modded engine?

Really depends on the buyer.

You'll get pennies on the dollar return for the cost of the mods (mods have always been a money pit since the beginning as far as a return value).

Overall the 6th gen has taken a pretty decent hit as far as depreciation goes. 1SS and 2SS can be had for mid to high $20k's now.

Yet, if you find the "right" buyer you can still come out pretty good on a modded car as long as your willing to be patient and wait for the right buyer...

I’d pay more for a clean, unmolested Camaro over a modded one.

Basically your car is probably worth what it would have been completely stock. You will loose most if not all of your mod expense. Modifications are a severe problem when you go to sell outright or trade the vehicle in, especially if you have internal engine modifications. The vast majority of buyers are not interested in a modded vehicle unless it's a fire sale. I learned this lesson with my 2010 SS, never again. My vehicles will stay stock or very near stock in the future.

Honestly the other one is prolly worth more as it can be more easily returned to stock.

I purchased a stock 2016 Camaro 2ss w/ 11.5k miles (NPP, heated/cooled seats, headed steering wheel, Bose sound, NAV) doesn't have sunroof for Magnetic Ride. Purchased from a dealer in Northern CA for 34k. Which was a fair deal. I wouldn't pay more than 34-35, depending on year and mileage.
