Has anyone that has applied this had any swirl marks pop up after washing your car.

Cquartz will still swirl, it’s just a bit more reduced. Bad wash towels can still do this. Polish out with Carpro essence plus.

I was hoping this ceramic coating was better than everyone praises . I don't see it being any better than wolfgangs sealant that I used for years.

Poor washing technique, and shitty car washes will still swirl. If anyone told you different they are wrong.

The main advantage of the ceramic coating is dirt does not stick as easily. You will have to wash your car less frequently if it has a ceramic coating, reducing the chance of causing swirls with your wash method.

Really? Wow. I’ve been a detail enthusiast for 20 years. My car with 1 GOOD layer of CQ UK and Reload beads/sheets wayyyyyyyyyyy better than any sealant/wax I’ve ever used (although I haven’t used the one you mentioned). But I mean the CQ is on another level IMO.

I think if it lasts 12+ months THATS where the advantage lies, even if you think another sealant beads water as well.

Regardless of what brand of coating you're going with, it's all in the wash / dry methodology, and what you're using to maintain the coating. There are many benefits of coatings that make it a far better choice (for most) than lesser products, however preventing swirls is not something that they do.

I have produced many videos on the subject of proper washing / drying, coatings, and how to maintain coated vehicles, and train professional detailers from around the world on these subjects and others.

I just purchased a new ZL1 1LE, and will be producing at least 6 videos on the car, including but not limited to paint correction, coatings, and paint protection film. I will be sure to present a lot of great educational information for Camaro owners (and others), as well as address many myths that exist out there...

The reason I will not put a ceramic coating on is it is a PITA since I am real anal it woul drive me crazy. I just stick with Reload, silica sealant is awesome, tons of gloss, and super easy to clean. Even after a heavy rainstorm, my vehicles look great, dirt comes right off, quick rinseless wash and I am good to go. Like mentioned above, doesn't matter what you have, it will still scratch if not washed/maintained properly.

I’m curious as to what exactly you find PITA about coatings?
