For me, I would say a higher reving engine. If the LT1 could run to 7-7,200rpm. Utilizing 19" wheels is my #2.

All I wish it had was the damn garage door opener the 2SS comes standard with. Such a cheap piece of tech to exclude, dumb on GM's part.

3.91 rear end. That's one of the biggest reasons I never upgraded from my 5th gen. 1LE. 100 more hp and torque wouldn't hurt either.

There is 1 thing I want to change, and this a personal preference. Putting in a great sound system. But I don't believe the car should come with it. Keep the cost lower and this is for track or performance purposes....no need to have a great stereo. But for my personal preference, because my other cars had good sound systems...i want to put one in my car.
That's it, no need to change any other thing on the car. |

The transmission out of the GT4.R, but most could not afford to buy the car with that tranny.

Dry sump LT1 to get engine lower, manual adjustable seats or optional non-reclinable racing seats like the GT3 RS, 19 inch wheels, 3.91 gears, and lighter flywheel.

You can add Homelink to a 1SS with this harness.

Homelink (yes I have the retrofit, but it should be standard)
Memory buttons for seats Less weight (why is the C7 so much lighter??) Less 'orange peal' on paint Higher redline Regular tires instead of run-flats That's pretty much it for me.

The M6 ZL1 is faster around Big Willow than the A10 ZL1 with Randy Pobst behind the wheel of both. There is a YouTuber with a A10 ZL1 that is 10 seconds slower around Big Willow than Randy is in a M6 SS 1LE! 2017 SS 1LE 1:28.29 2017 M6 ZL1 1:26.15 2017 A10 ZL1 on YT 1:38 The A10 is not really the performance enhancing transmission you think it is, You're thinking of the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. Edit: OMG, you were referring to the A8, not the A10. No. Just no. Last edited by End User; 02-25-2018 at 05:51 PM. Reason: dantemcc was referring to the A8, not the A10 |
