Distracted for 1 second...
Took my eye off the road for 1 second and rear ended a Navigator making an illegal U turn. Of course, the cops summoned me for following too close. Thank God nobody hurt. Lesson learned.

First mod I did to mine was a dash cam. Not just for me, may help someone else one day lol. Glad to hear they turned it in for you and your alright

1LE without PDR?
nevermind, not 1LE i wish i they had a dash cam mode that turns PDR on each time you drive...i have a good habit of turning it on, but still.

Thanks all! And yes, a thoughtful witness with a dash cam saved the day for me. The cop said the video clearly showed the lady attempted a left turn (or u turn) from the right turn lane. Crossed right in front of me. I hit her left rear bumper almost perpendicular to my direction of travel.
