Forgeline GA1Rs Installed
I finally had time to get the stock tires swapped onto my Forgelines. I installed them and some Z26 brake pads today.
They are GA1R wheels finished in transparent smoke. I'm really happy with how they look. |

How much weight compared to OEM?
They look nice! Gloss black I prefer but beautiful with blue! |

The forgelines in the 19 and 20 sizes are somewhere between 19 and 23 pounds depending on actual size, about as light is anything you can buy. I owned a set on my C7 that I had custom-made ....great company…

I agree. I have a set of VX1s on my C7 and really like Forgelines quality. The set for ZL1 and C7 were custom ordered. I liked doing that since you can get just about any finish that you want.

I've always liked the looks of the GA1Rs on the Camaro. I just haven't been able to come to terms with their cost.

They look great, one of their timeless designs! I just did a set of GS1Rs (which are the open lug track version of these) in 19/19 for a ZL1 1LE earlier this week, in the same trans smoke. You cannot go wrong with that brushed tint
I also love the new EX1s a lot too. We're a master dealer for Forgeline and able to offer deep discounts. I do a WIP wheel program with them on the Z06s, keeping about 3-4 sets there in stock in various styles ready to pick a color and ship so you don't have to wait 4-6 weeks. If I see you guys picking up on these, I'll do them for this platform too. Enjoy!

Those may be the best looking wheels I’ve seen on the ZL1. Beautiful.

Always been a fan of Forgeline.
The smoke finish looks a bit like a darkened brushed finish....gorgeous. The spoke design compliments the lines of the ZL1 quite nicely! Last edited by Boost-Ed; 02-04-2018 at 09:20 AM. |
