Weaponx lt4 blower kit

have been doing a lot of research on my options for FI and stumbled upon weapon xs lt4 supercharger conversion kit. was wondering if anyone has installed this kit from them or has any input on them as a company for 4k for their 550hp kit seems like a good deal also wondering if i would need anything else that is not included in this kit

The Z06 LT4 needs a different snout to bolt op to the Camaro. Not sure if it is completed yet. You either need a CTS-V or ZL1 blower to get it to bolt up. There is also a bunch of pulleys and brackets you will need. You may also want to upgrade the heat exchanger or get one that fits the Camaro properly.

I may let my LT4 blower go and crank balancer when the 2650 is out..

Checkout ADM in Lewisville Texas, they did my 2017 1LE and it came out great.610whp and 599tq. The car drives like stock until you step on the gas. Talk to Andy he will hook you up.

We have successfully used either blower on the wet sump and dry sump conversions. Our in-house capabilities with two engineers, fab shop, CNC mill, etc goes a long way. We have a Camaro in-house right now we're doing the LT4 swap on and will have a full build thread up on it shortly.

Well ****... Wish this was a thing back when I was looking into boost. That 750bhp parts list is super appealing at that price O.o

When I tried to buy the LT4 conversion during the Black Friday/Xmas deals, they said it was for in house installation at that time. Are they available for diy for $4000 now?

I know the lt4 is a cool kit, but why are all the Zl1 guys pulling them off? They are only 1700 and won't make the power you may want or need. Is the 4500 with intercooler and everything you'll need or do you have to put the rest of the kit together with hoses, pump, etc. If you want a fast car buy a Maggie, Weapon x has those also. Go fast or be slow and its your choice. I like fast and so should you, spend a little extra and you'll be good to go.

The LT4 engine is much more capable then the 1.7 blower. However this blower matches up better with the LT1 for those that are not planning on making huge power. The 1.7 will take the LT1 fuel system and pistons to it's limits. Also with the LT1 being higher compression, the LT4 blower does not need spun as hard to make the same power. 4500 includes everything to make a reliable 550whp/600wtq. Seems like a solid deal to me.

Not sure how you can call it slow...there is a guy that has the base LT4 kit on a SS and went 10.9 @ 129. The SS will go faster then a ZL1 at the same power level. Less weight and less drag. ZL1 was built for corners.
