hyper-flashing

WHAT COULD BE CAUSING ME PASSENGER SIDE TURN SIGNAL TO BE HYPER-FLASHIN? MY CAR DID NOT COME WITH THE RS PACKAGE SO I INSTALLED THE GM BLACK TAIL LIGHTS WITH THE NON-RS TO RS WIRE HARNESS FROM GEN5DIY. ABOUT 2 WEEKS AFTER INSALL, MY PASSENGER SIDE TURN SIGNAL STARTED HYPER-FLASHIN.... WHY?

That usually means you have a light out. Did you turn that side on and get out to see if they are all working front and rear?

Have you tried or can you switch harness from one side to the other to see if one is bad? Not sure what else it could be. I know that on my motorcycle I had I put led turn signals would hyperflash if the resistor was not hooked up.

Have you recently installed Dark Tail Lamps and you don't have the premium lighting package?

May be something went wrong with Gen5DIY harness? Perhaps a resistor has blown.. just have it checked!

See you!!,

Swapped the harnesses today. Narrowed it down to that one harness hyper-flashing. Ima email or call gen5diy today and see if they’ll send a new harness out to replace it. Thanks for your guys help

hope ya got it fixed. I had one of their original harnesses and it finally blew a resistor on the right side harness.

bought one of their new ones with the resistors in the heat bags and problem gone. the resistor burned out.
