Anyone lower there 1LE?
If so what brand springs did you go with? Please post up part numbers as I am looking to kill some wheel gap... I parked next to some lowered cars and felt like I was driving a truck lmao this is not my daily so figured why not enjoy it!
Thanks PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT WITH THE OMG WHY WOULD YOU LOWER A 1LE!!!!

What would be enjoyable about increasing the spring stiffness to overpower the dampers and decrease the ride, handling, etc?
I'm not asking why would you lower it, I'm asking why would you do this without managing the effects on the damping?

I would not lower or mess with the 1LE. It's handling is pure magic the way it is and the stance is great. It's probably the only "stock" car I've never wanted to lower. However, I have a 2018 and I've heard that Chevy lowered it a bit from the earlier 6th gen versions but I'm not sure.

Yup. Only way to lower in my opinion though.
Edit: To each their own of course, and street driven v track driven matters a great deal in decision. I lowered my 2013 1LE, and it certainly compromised the handling characteristics for track use. Street was fine.

I have BMR lowering springs. It doesn't mess with magna ride and it handles great. Don't get caught up in the hype that this car is flawless from the factory and can't be improved with mods.

And yes, you CAN ruin a car, but lowering it a little bit isn't going to hurt it much as long as you go with good quality parts and do it the right way.
