For you new Camaro convertible owners what are your pros/cons?
I had a rental convertible 1ss a8 for a week to drive down through the Florida keys and had a blast. It was really all pros except for the following:

It had the least trunk space I've ever seen in any car.
Interior felt claustrophobic with the top up (more so than the coupe imo).
The convertible felt slightly heavier/slower than the coupe but still plenty quick.
Seat doesn't recline far enough.
Slow responding paddle up/downshifts (not exclusive to the vert obviously)

You can auto raise all windows - when button is set to front pull up on the window switches and release (like you are going to use the auto up feature), click the rear button and pull up on both window switches again. The rears will roll up, then the fronts will roll up automatically.

windows will raise once the rears go up. I do this without thinking anymore, it's easy.

Dont even need to hold them up, just pull up and release after you push the rear button.

I love my 17 Convertible I have been wanting a vert since the 4th Gen’s I passed up on a 2002 Tom Henry Racing (GMMG) 380 car back in 2006, and family life got in the way for my 45th Anniversary Vert. This time when I was shopping I was thing about going with a coupe but the wife said get the vert that is what you have always wanted.

The decision was worth it, I already knew going into buying one I would sacrifice a few items like zero trunk space, heavier car, speed limited because of a convertible. But these items are minor IMHO it’s a great car. Once I picked up the car in Michigan it was an enjoyable 19 hour trip home back to Orlando. The car is pretty darn quiet with the top up. IMHO this car is just too darn sweet looking with the top down IMHO far better looking than the coupe.

To be hones I do not have any cons I picked up the car April 13, 2017 put 1152 miles on the drive home, and as of today I have 1700 miles on it so I have not had much time to spend in the car or get to know all of the features.

IMHO if anyone is on the fence about the convertible go rent one for a few days and just drive it, I guarantee you will fall in love with it.

Absolutely love my car. Came from a DSOM 2016 2LT Stingray 7M. The *only* thing I miss about the C7 is how it looks. Love how my 50th 2SS convertible looks... but it's no C7

A picture is worth a thousand words. LOL! Visibility is interesting with the top up but you just gotta use your mirrors religiously.

First convertible ever and first new Chevy I don’t regret the convertible decision whatsoever. So much fun driving when the weather is nice and it releases all the stress of the day. Downside is the additional noise which isn’t too much. I don’t like that the convertible isn’t as quick but it’s very close in the 0-60 run against the m6 hardtop. I also notice the handling isn’t as strong but that’s because the convertible doesn’t have the additional support of having a roof.

My last Camaro prior to the current 2018 SS Redline Convertible in the attached photo, was a 2015 Z28. I love the Redline and was pleasantly surprised by the attributes of the car, including chassis stiffness, creature comforts, wicked sound and comparable acceleration. Yesterday was a perfect, blue sky, day in the Dallas/FT Worth area so my wife and I went cruising with the top down causing us to be extra glad we had purchased a convertible. Given the fun we are having, I'd definitely recommend purchasing one.

This car would be my DD, and for occasional short trips. But even grocery shopping, most of the bags would end up in the back seat.
What can one expect for how long the soft top would last (assuming garage kept)? I had a BMW 330 convertible that was 6 years old when I got rid of it; the top was still in really decent shape...any thoughts on this one's lifespan?
man, this is a beautiful car.
easy fix for groceries put the to up for the ride home! The trunk is large then lol.

Yup. I get my premium gas at Costco because it's at least $0.30 per gallon cheaper than anywhere else in the area. Then I stop in the store and shop. Yes...I said it....Costco shopping in a Camaro Convertible.
