Full bolts on minus E85 gains ?

Hi, E85 is not really available here, 91oct only, so how much WHP can i get with CAI,
Long tube headers/w hi- flow cats and a tune ? What is a ported intake and ported throttle body ?
Looks like popular mods ! Are they worth it for a 2018 SS 1LE ?

Thanks

Ported intake and throttle body; you remove your stock intake and throttle body and mail it to Pray Performance (he’s on here as Pray, on Facebook as Pray Performance). For around $500-600 he’ll port them and send them back. This has actually proven to be the best intake set up for a simple bolt on car.

A full bolt on; headers, hi-flow cats, exhaust, ported intake and throttle body, cold air intake and a custom tune, will bet you around 50-60rwhp over stock.

I don’t have easy access to E85 either, the closest station to me is 91 miles away. My car isn’t not a daily driver, I have a truck as my daily. About every 10 weeks I make the drive to fill up a 55gal poly drum with E85. Adding E85 to your full bolt ons will net you another’s 20-30rwhp.

Full bolt ons with E85 is usually 70-80rwhp over stock.

About 30-40hp and another 10-20 with ported parts.

Here you go.

Rotofab dry CAI = 6 rw

1 7/8 LTS with 3" long pipes = 16 rw

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=472259

ARH 1 7/8 LT W CATS TO STOCK MUFFLER, MSD ATOMIC AND ROTOFAB DRY. 460 RWHP 446 RWTQ (non ported)

Peak to Peak gains 31 RWHP 11 RWTQ

Delta gains +46 RWHP +31 RWTQ

Get the porting for a few HP more. A ported intake (message the member Pray) and TB will add a few more HP. The ported stock intake manifold is a better choice than a MSD.

I'm full bolt on with e85. I missed incrementally. I started with a CAI and 93 octane tune, gains were modest but noticeable, throttle response and driveability improved considerably. I next added Pray's IM/T.V. gains were again modest but slightly more noticeable than the cai/tune. Step 3 was e85 sensor/tune - nothing subtle about the gains this time around, best seat-of-the-pants gain by far. Step 4 was headers and high flow cats with tune, this was the 2nd most noticeable gain, definitely more noticeable than my first two but not as noticeable as e85. The car does sound much better in my opinion. If you can find a source for e85, it would be worth it to do as my87z28 does and buy it by the barrel.
