I also wouldn't say Mustang's were never good at handling. The 5th gen cars for the first half Mustang was clearly the better handling car of the two. The First 5.0 GT permformance pack got tested against the M3, the BOSS 302 was a pretty damn good handling car as well. Then GM really stepped it up with the 1LE, ZL1 and Z/28. Ford's been playing catch up since, but I wouldn't say Mustang was NEVER good at corner carving.

16GT with PP1...you finally pried it out of me.

Those wheels and tires are heavier than the standard SS. My guess is, You're taking a hit at trying to get them rotating....although I would think that would be negated by being able to launch more aggressively with those meaty rears.

So by "still looking" I guess that means you're "still looking" for a fast car...

You should get an 18 GT and then throw a tune/tire on it...

A GT with PP as equally equipped as possible to 1LE is 400-500 dollars cheaper than 1LE.. Mustang still missing Recaro seats at that point, HUD, and I'd say has inferior equipment across the board.

What is the PP2 going to cost on regular GT with 301 package?

Yes, you have to have a subscription for now for (I think) $5.99/month. But they used to let you have a month for free and cancel if you like.

If not, you can wait one month for it to be available to non subscribers.

You don't even realize your giving yourself a backhanded compliment.

You have nearly 200 more horsepower and 230 lbft of torque than a lightly modded GT...and are slower. Professional or not, that's a hoot.

Nice to watch the 1LE win, but I am really interested in the vs PP2.

I have had no issues with the GT350s I go up against in AutoX or on track (Sebring, Daytona, PBIR). But I am fairly certain that is driver vs driver.

1 mile race results more concerning than quarter mile race results? LOL...yeah because there are so many races to 150 mph. Anything to help you feel better man.

There are quite a few highway roll races that occur...and is something many that lack the time or the ability to drag race at a track will do.

The SS deficit is up over 100+ anyway due to gearing splits between them. Roll races to 150 is the new norm that matters. Holy cow lol
