Not to mention I got 27.5 miles per gallon on a 4200 mile road trip I took it on this fall
That is good to hear. I realize no one buys sports cars for fuel mileage. But took my '01 LS1 6 spd from Springfield IL area to Phoenix AZ many years ago. Drove out there, around PHX for 5 days & back. Hand calculated it got 26.9 mpg. Which I thought was awesome way back then.

Never thought I’d sell my 2013 RS/SS Camaro ,
But went to Barrett Jackson this fall and got to talk to one of the R&D guys in the Camaro division. Learned more than I should have
Got home, sold the 2013 and ordered a 2018 ZL1 Nightfall Grey

As much as I loved my RS/SS, this thing should be a beast
Anxiously waiting for it to arrive.

Let me perfectly frank. Sometimes I regret buying my 2015 Z/28. That said if I could do it over again I would prolly buy a new 18 SS 1LE instead.

Why?

Because I truly miss the upgraded 6th generation interior minus the shitty useless computer/navigation.

Honestly if I could locate my old 4th generation SS then I'd buy her back.

Why?

I'm getting kind of sick of all the navigation bullshit in Cars today because when it breaks, you will be a world of hurt cause nothing will work.

Lastly, let me say the Z/28 will in my opinion be a highly valued Collectible as time passes and it's all natural horsepower or as they say aspirated naturally. This is golden if not an actual gold investment. Some may disagree but that's fine. If I could by 20 Z/28s then I would but I'm not Trump.

Nuff said.

very happy. i'm not gonna read every post so this may have been said already....

if you go to any product forum, you will find many many complaints, most folks dont go out of their way to let folks know their product works as designed, they go to post because their pissed and want to vent.

that said, Camaro is mass produced and there will be issues. in 2017 i purchased my first two domestic cars in my life...no problems so far.

I’m even more happy with my ZL1 than my 16SS and I didn’t think it could be done better and I was so wrong. Wow is all I say every day...

I love everything about this car. I only drive the car about 2-3 times a week so the “wow” factor is always there. Can’t wait until the summer returns.

I'm not really happy with mine. Less than 3000 miles and I'm on my second replacement converter and they replaced the transmission along with various flashes, reprogramming etc to fix the shudder issue.

When it's not shuddering and shaking all the time it's fun to drive but I'm not happy with the purchase. It's in hibernation right now as I'm in Chicago. We'll see what the spring brings.

I made GM buy back my 2016 2LT V6 A8, just this week. It spent 26 cumulative days at the dealership for various issues. The straw that broke my back was the TCC shudder and the bi-polar A8 transmission. I will never own a GM vehicle with the A8....Maybe i should have got a 6 speed 2ss or 1ss. But a manual gear box would be a pain with the number of miles that i drive. This forum is full off TCC and A8 issues, those who have those issues, I would say this: make sure you know your states lemon laws and please use them if GM continues to throw fluid and TCC's to this A8 issue. Just my two cents, I love the car, it's the sexiest car on the road, but way too many headaches for me.

2017 2SS A8 convertible 50 Yr 18000 miles

Yes I love this car. I read all the bad and good reviews. The 2016 has a large number of issues. The 17 not so much. Because of the A8 V4 mode I can achieve 5.4 L/100K or 52 mpg (imperial). Compared to anything I've had in the past this thing flys. The fit and finish is very good. The A8 transmition issue (surging) was fixed by the dealership.
