As a quick aside. Utilizing nitrous adds extra oxygen to the combustion chamber that would not otherwise be put there via the atmosphere. It is in fact "forced" induction, chemical supercharging.

It being the third variant therof;
mechanical supercharging (engine driven),
turbo supercharging (exhaust turbine driven),
and the aforementioned chemical supercharging (nitrous injection).

You're = You are. Example: If someone is going to the store you say "Oh I see YOU'RE going to the store".

Your - Something that belongs to you. Example: If someone is driving their car to the store you say "Oh I see you're (you are) driving YOUR (possessive) car to the store.

It is not changing the aspiration from negative to positive. So no, it is not forced induction. Air isn't being forced (or pushed) in. On a vacuum/pressure gauge the needle would still be at 0 at WOT. So there is nothing positive pressure about it. It can add all the extra O2 it wants. But it isn't forcing it no matter how you try to twist it. It ain't forced induction. It gets looped in with forced induction. But it is in no way shape or form forced induction.

I would say nitrous gets looped in with forced induction because it is a power adder. Car is not NA if it has nitrous so it gets lumped in with the forced induction power adders

I have seen well thought out arguments on both sides, lets just all agree and call it a power adder.
