boost and fuel pump issue

I just installed a p1x and zl1 fuel pump and only other upgrade I have is a smaller pulley. My problem is that I am running out of fuel on the top the car is commanding 2100 PSI and I can only get it to push 1800 PSI. My tuner is confused so that I why I am asking for help

The direct injection fuel system on these cars has a hard limit, when you exceed that hard limit fuel pressure drops and injector opening time exceeds 6 milliseconds.

There may be some tuning changes that can help stay under that hard limit but likely you will need to go back to your larger pulley or upgrade to LT4 High pressure pump and injectors to raise that ceiling.

Still to this day I don't see how a lash cap can change fuel delivery.

The cam lobe has to change to change the stroke of the pump to increase fuel delivery.

And this would not solve the hard limit of the injectors.
