That's the road that I use to go to Chase Race, in Duvall It's so much fun indeed

They gave me an offer that I couldn't pass on (most likely because there is someone looking for the exact car that I have and it's very hard to find these cars in PNW)

Long story short I made the switch yesterday I will miss the car and this community for sure but in the meantime I will be checking posts and answer questions so I won't be a stranger

If it wasn't for a Miata I would never sell my 1LE that's for sure. The new car is a '17 Club edition in Meteor (dark) grey color Soft top. It will eventually get Edelbrock supercharger kit but for now I will take care of the rest of the mods to make it track worthy (roll bars, seats, weight reduction, wheels/tires, coilovers..etc ..etc) . My plan is to convert it to a global cup car but with a supercharger to help alleviate the power deficit (~ 2100 lbs and 210 whp)
Congrats Cem, good looking spec... sounds like it’ll be a fun little monster. Prolly a little smaller expendable bill too! Let me know if you’re looking to clear out parts, might have interest.

If you decide to look at Boxster, a 2009-2012 model has a robust engine with no seal or bearing issues. Oil changes are easy too. Just back on to a ramp and dump the 7 quarts. The filter is a paper element. In twelve years of Boxster ownership, I replaced on alternator for $1000. Everything else was bullet proof. Amazing handling with an interior that isn't quite as cramped as a Miata's. But, the SS has a sound track and ride quality that is hard to beat. I love it so far.

Thanks for the information. I always considered Porsche's and I might try one in the future. The only thing is while they're good compromise between lightweight and power, they're still compromise :/ I was thinking of getting a low mileage C5 Z06 and make it below 3000lbs but I eliminated that plan for the above reason. It might be still worth to try at some point though as I never owned a Porsche

If it wasn't for the deal that they gave me, I would be still owning one.
Hopefully the new project won't be a disaster.

I drove the new Miata and it was fun; the standouts were clutch and shifter. Still prefer the 1LE for the body control, sound, and highway comfort.
That's odd, I can see the pics just fine.

Should be a fun car in a different way for sure! I know I had someone looking at buying mine and I thought about going back to a BRZ/86.

If it has to be a DD and/or you need the back seats (for kids maybe) then it makes sense. I was actually thinking the same back then and Miata didnt have the aftermarket support so BRZ made sense. Also the BRZ/FRS community or online forums had tons of information available.

However, Miata (like S2000 and Corvette) are true sports cars from the ground up meaning double wishbone, engine and seating position etc. New Miatas also have enough aftermarket support the only issue with these cars are the lack of power that needs to be addressed and when it comes to that, In stock form BRZ was the most boring car I have ever owned, Miata OTOH is somewhat more fun since it's much lighter and convertible. I would highly suggest to drive them both again to make a decision
