Farewell Arctic Blue

Anyone else notice this color is gone from the "build your own" site?

Here's hoping they'll get some interesting colors like the SS sedan used to have... Orange Blast, Alchemy Purple, Regal Peacock Green, Jungle Green, or that first blue of which I forget the name (replaced by Slipstream Blue)...would all be interesting on a Camaro...Maybe replace kalahari interior with something less orange while they are at it...

I had my 2SS 1LE built in that color online...and apparently still in my cookies when I went back to the Chevy site today to mull over my potential future purchase some more...the site apparently didn't know what to do with my arctic blue cookie and crashed on me.

I think that other thread says it all: "my wife loved the color"..."never seen on an SS"...apparently Chevy went for the un-masculine female buyer (the "Camaro Berlinetta"?) with that color and failed....kind of funny - the only place I saw it in person was at a dealership owned by a woman.... maybe just a coincidence ;-) Maybe I ought to see if Becky has an Arctic Blue 2SS 1LE she ordered on its way that's still looking for an owner...

Rather liked that color on the 1LE. Although Black, Red, Garnet, Blue, and Gray look pretty good on it also.

I wish I could see it in person. To me it just looks like silver until it's next to a silver car

i like it,but my car is blue velvet metallic, another color that was done away with.cant see why it was umpopular,it looks black in some conditions, blue in others, and purple if the light hits it just so.

I live in spring on the east side of 45 near 1960. I drive to Kuykendahl daily for work so maybe you'll spot mine one of these days.
