I've in the past owned 2 68's 2 69's a 76 ( my first car ) the 67 and a 78
This 1SS convertible 50th anniversary is such a joy to drive .

Whats funny is being a camaro owner ( first year and now 50th anniversary ) and a few years in between . I absolutely love my xmas gift to myself , my boys love it .
And as usual I am already seriously contemplating mods to do in the very near future.

Some habits never die , any recommendations . Im thinking cold air , nitto drag radials , maybe hollowed out cats and possibly headers .

My fifty has a logo on the steering wheel. Granted its not a special anniversary edition , its just has the 50th anniversary logo on the steering wheel.

And its definitely is a 2017 , just doesnt have the special badging other than the steering wheel logo saying ( fifty )

This thread is more catering to the special edition 50ths but by all means you’re welcome to join in with us crazy guys and gals.

As for mods: cold air intake, headers, and a few cosmetic. That’s my 2 cents worth.

I had the idea of floating a 2ss , I just wanted this color more than anything .
And besides the 1SS has everything I want . Its amazing that fifty years of camaro and the technology this one has . I also drove a hardtop , but I got this 1SS drop top for 28k so it was a no brainer , I love it . Love the keyless start and remote start . Any ideas what guys are running ( real numbers ) with the slightly heavier convertible ? Ill be heading to the track soon to get some baseline number next week .
