If you install the ZL1 door panels with the Spectrum Lighting handles in a 1SS 1LE how do you go about getting the coding for the radio? Does it come with it or do you have to shanghai the dealer into giving it to you? Planning on purchasing it from thatgmpartsguy not a dealer btw.

if you have a 1le and are worrying about adding spectrum lighting i think you bought the car for the wrong reason lol

I bought a set of ZL1 door panels from Matt, didn't even know they would come with the lighting strips sonI thought I got a nice bonus! Turns out not only are ypu missing a good chunk of wiring required to make them work but the door switches (mirror adjusting is the main culprit for whatever reason) isn't 100% compatible with a 1SS so I ended up having to swap out all of the wiring in the doors.

It's a good swap if you want the suede, but you won't be able to get the spectrum lighting to work.

Coming from a Merc with the ambient light, I like the creature comforts, plus its my car so I can do what I like..... The 5 extra pounds is really gonna kill me right bro?
