18 gt 6 speed. 469 wheel with tune pmas cai and e85 only. Seems a little high to me. Ive seen 6g camaros run 460 wheel with the same mods but with catless headers too.

Honestly, that sounds about right. I thought that number was low. Man. I need some sleep. What are they putting down stock at the wheels? NM. He said 421 was baseline. Yea, so 469 sux!!!!!!!! haha. Tune/Intake/E85 should at least get it to 475. It's not forced induction so, they lose a little on the E85 anyways. So, I guess we can close the book when fan boys say a tune and tire GT will roll a Zl1. This proves it's not even in the same league. I base lined at 564.

That's a little more than a Camaro will make with those mods. but hard to compare different dyno and day. The gain from the mods is legit. The SS sees 30-40 rwhp just from tune and e85. Mustang GT gains big too. E85 likes high compression and DI. If its also like the SS gains from headers wont be huge. A good portion of the gains with those is just from removal of stock cats. Stock parts get more efficient every generation. e85 and tune is biggest gain NA mod for the SS. Id really be surprised if they are getting as much as claimed from the cai. There are ways to manipulate numbers on a dyno to sell parts. many of them. Same for the SS. Independent test always show less than vendors/shops |

Truth. That's why you don't see actual quotes of these outrageous statements the mustang crowd has allegedly said. But there are always those on here that like to stir the pot and blow things out of proportion of what has actually been said. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

And plenty of us read those comments on YT, FB groups, M6G, and other sites. You can play oblivious all you want but you know what they have said over there and the ridiculous claims they make. Y'all talked mad shit up until that H2H got posted and now you're back tracking, digging up excuses, and trying to act like you guys are on some moral high ground. You didn't get to do your victory dance so I guess this is the best you can come up with. |

Removing the head is not that bad of a job tho. I personally would do that than try to fix the thread and worry that it'll happen again. I never ran into that problem BTW. But I know plenty of people who have.

[QUOTE=BlaqWhole;10018781]So you made a comment about me not doing my own work just to get proven wrong and now I see you didn't reply back. Again with eating your own words.
No i saw what you said, seems like your just making stuff up and talking out of your blaqwhole. But type away about how you did this and that to this car and that car. I really dont care what the hell you do. I dont have time to argue with you |

and maybe you need to prioritze a little better, you bought two of some of the fastest muscle cars to ever come out but you buy a 2000 mountainer for what a daily? Lol. Sounds like you might need to trade in one of those toys in but you probally realized you cant because you lost 10k on each when you drove them off the lot... ouch

Both of my cars are DD. I even drove my ZL1 twice in the snow already this month, lol! On the stock tires nonetheless. I have a video of that too if you wanna see it. But the Merc will be used for snow duty from now on and it'll be sitting until I need it. If it doesn't snow at all, then the only miles it'll have are the ones I'll put on it getting it home. Keep reaching tho, lol!! |
