It was either the Summit or the Magnaflow. I honestly can't remember.

how much power, if any is the X pipe worth on a N/A car? my next mod will be Pray's head/stg 1 cam package. I would like to retain the stock X pipe, suitcase muffler, NPP exhaust unless there's more power available in the exhaust than I'm thinking.

Ive read the suitcase is lighter than the axle backs that are out there. Plus it smooths out the underside and prevents ballooning of lower valance.

Stock muffler weighs right at 39lbs. It does smooth out the area before the rear bumper. There isn't much holding that thing in place.
I didn't do a before and after dyno test of my exhaust vs. stock. But I think the 3", if the cut outs are placed correctly, would show some good gains.

So then the real way to drop weight would just be a muffler (suitcase) delete.
Sorry to hijack your thread. |

Thank you. Parachute. Wonder if lowering the car would help a bit with an after market exhaust. I don’t know the flow path of air under the car. And also a front fascia extension like the GM one. |
