We were thinking today if the new ZL1-1LE came with better/lighter Dive Planes made of Carbon Fiber?
From viewing pictures the stock ones they appear cheap, made of plastic? There must be a company out there making them in carbon fiber? Would be a big seller, one would think? |

Wow. Very nice add on if one wanted carbon fiber. Imagine how good this would look with the carbon fiber ZL1-1LE Wing?

High End Performance Based Products
They have been making go fast and lighter pieces in the Corvette world, but just released some amazing OEM fitment for the ZL1 1LE. You can also replace the front splitter and front bumper air duct bezels that the canards/dive planes connect to.

I have an order in. You can call AC and they will put you on the list. I am matching the CF hood, wing and rear diffuser. Waiting on CF rockers.
Already installed 1LE wheels and red calipers. They are all going on an A10 convert. AC is going to start production in Jan 2018. |

$2100 to have the front end Carbon Fiber (canards, bezels and splitter).
Can we do better on price with a Camaro6 group buy? |

Not sure if it is just me or not. If you go with carbon fiber front splitter, do you not need to do the rockers and rear diffuser in carbon fiber as well? The stock ZL1 comes with front splitter, rockers and rear diffuser in Mosaic black. Are you all going to purchase rockers and rear diffuser in carbon fiber too?

When I spoke to AC, they are not sure about the rockers on the ZL1 1LE holding up over time since they will take a beating with those tires the way they come up in the rear. Function over looks is very important to them, so just adding pieces for display reasons does not make a viable case to produce.
When testing the other aero parts on the SEMA car that was also raced hard, it shows that the ZL1 1LE rockers take a beating which does not make CF pieces happy. For all those who have ordered or on the fence on these amazing quality CF pieces, for them to be installed it will require removal of your front bumper. Happy Holidays |

I would not want ANY Carbon Fiber pieces down low on the car unless I was a sponsored race team and didn't care how much it costs.
If you have cleared/exposed CF - it will get sanded down by debris on the sides and rear, or scraped off (as in a splitter) up front...and you can't fix the coating. Replacement cost for those parts is astronomical compared to poly/plastic. Painted CF isn't so bad, sure...but then, why CF at all if you can't see it? I do want those dive-planes, though... |
