I was worried too. This was the first time I've had to have any car at a dealer since I was a tech 7 years ago and did all my own work.

So if we understand this correctly, the 2018 ZL1 comes with better springs, and sits lower, which means better aerodynamics?

not better, just correct.

Yes and no. The early 2017 coupes had front springs that didn’t settle as much as Cevy expected.

They fixed it in April, offering free replacement to owners upon request.

I wouldn't go of April mine was built in April I would just measure. But ya passing by the dealer all the 18s look good now.

Mine are being installed Monday.. Took nearly 3 weeks to get the springs.

Its not defective, they just made a decision in early production to run a shorter spring. Its not a requirement that you replace the spring, its more of a preference and on GMs dime.
