First oil change and cut open oil filter---> http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=516343

Then went for a nice run during an unseasonably warm day, did a final wash/detail, and put her to bed for the winter.

Spring can't come soon enough!

Did several things this weekend. Installed the Sto-n-Sho plate holder for the front. Then installed the ZL1addons Rock Guards. Put the front wheels back on after the dealer fixed them. And then adjusted the misaligned driver's side bumper/fender joint. Now just waiting for the car cover, battery tender and torque wrench to arrive before she goes to hibernate for the winter, all with 358 miles. I'm already dreading winter.

Do you have a pic of the installed rock guards.

You have a close up from the rock guard and side skirt. I like to see the cap or no gap.

You're welcome. Here is one, but it's not really a side shot. There are more pics from different angles at the end of this thread---> http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=514104

The front and rear of the ACS side skirts line up flush with the fender lips. The ZL1 Addons rock guards mount flush to the fender lip, so no gap.

Yess, I did everything right. I ordered the side skirts and the ZL1 rock guards coming soon.

Raining & crappy out. Picked up a set of OEM dark tails so I'll have to throw those on at some point.

As I said in the other thread your car looks awesome but the gap between wheel and fender looks quite big.

Hmmm, that is interesting. For 2018, didn't Chevy lower the 1LE a bit by changing out the springs? That car does look abnormally high. Could just be an illusion due to black paint, but the gaps do look pretty big.

I think it may be due to being on my lift all night and part of the day. I was polishing and it is much easier having the car up at working height. I just put it on the ground and pulled it in the sun and the springs probably had not settled.

Here's an earlier pic I took after a drive.

It's definitely from the lift. I had my car sitting on jack stands for two days. When I put the wheels back on and lowered it, there was at least a 2" gap. A couple of hours later it was gone.

Sent an email to confirm financials. Looks like I may be upgrading from a 2012 SS to a 2018 1LE in the very near future
