Ok, I am ready to start my remote tune session and want to be as prepared as possible so I dont waste the tuners time.
Can I enable the Flex Fuel sensor to see if it will read the Ethanol content of 93 octane before I start sending data to the tuner? |

Do you have HPTuners? I’m guessing you do since you’re asking questions about enabling your sensor.
Here’s a few links to review that will help you. Be careful and read it all. This is what I used many years ago when I added the FF sensor. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=536112 https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=469951

Yes you can enable sensor and check to make sure it's reading around 9-11% ethanol content on pump gas.

Ok I can see the Ethanol Content fluctuating around 9.4 to 9.8 with HP Tuners. However I can not find the PID for E content in the IDash Supergauge.
The 2019 Zl1 has an E92A ECM.....Anyone running a IDash on a 2019 and monitoring E ? |

I don’t have a 2019 or ZL1 and I don’t believe your problem is MY specific. Did you select GM standard for the vehicle?

Sigh....That was the issue! When the I Dash booted the first time I must have fat fingered the first selection without knowing. I did a factory reset and started from the beginning and as you say selected GM Standard. Then went through the PIDs and low and behold it is in the correct PID menu! Thanks for setting me straight! ![]() By the way I spoke to Banks Tech Support today and they confirmed a new software release in the next 60 days. Sounds like they will have a Gasoline version and a Diesel version of software. Version 2.0 for Gasoline. |

You bring good news because if Banks is separating the diesel from the gasoline, that means there would be more memory for other PIDs. This is what they said was limiting adding more PIDs so that we could have knock and injector PW.
