Hi!

A while back I pulled the exhaust fuse (I think no 51) on my 2019 V6 1LT. Today I got Magnaflow axle-back exhaust installed and the car sounds amazing. Now I’m wondering, will putting the fuse back do any affect with the axle back exhaust?

I have to admit it’s a bit embarrassing driving in the neighborhood 😅 would prefer the loudness when I step on the gas not just slight tap to drive.

To my understanding yes. It replaced that one giant muffler at the back.

From what I've seen it won't matter since you have a muffler delete anyways

I would guess the same but arent the valves still there? And having the fuse back would keep them shut? That has to give some effect?

Valves are attached to the NPP muffler.

Aha! I think I see what you’re talking about now. Which makes me wonder now, since I had dual single tip exhaust, does that mean that the fuse had no effect what so ever? Or does it work in the same logic for dual single tips?

If you have a dual exhaust and not the quad then that fuse pull did nothing at all for the exhaust.

Only the quad exhausts have the NPP

With the kit you have in the link above, it won't work. So do you now have the quad tip rear diffuser, but with just the single tips?
