I cut one apart a year or so ago. It was a huge waste of time and effort. The ports are blocked so you can't really do anything with them. Search the threads I have started. I posted up about it. I also cut out all the restrictions in the runners and throat and reshape everything. I have been refining this manifold and TB for two years on the flow bench and dyno. Not to mention the track backs up everything I have done.

If someone wants to give me 2K I will do that to a factory manifold. If Darin did that one I bet it was $2,500.

Anybody here have any experience or information on discernable differences between a tony mamo ported TB and a pray. I heard great things about tony mamo for years and everybody here loves pray. Just curious before I make my choice, seems like either way I can't go wrong.

I just got one from Tony Mamo .. They were on sale ..He starts with a brand new TB so you get to keep your stock one just in case you need it .. The car drives much better ( smoother ) Tip in on the throttle is much better than factory .. Car seems to shift better also ..Don't know what the TB would have to do with shifting but it seems better .. Never tried a Pray ported TB but I would think it would be the same or so close to the same you would not know any difference ..

I bought a Katech unit mostly because I'm impatient. It was plug and play with no tuning adjustments needed. Picked up 18whp combined with ported stock IM and second cat delete..

We're these gains totally tuneless or did you get some sort of tune after having all 3?

Gains were realized with zero tune adjustments. Just before dyno, install, then after dyno.
