In 2004 I was going to buy a GTO that was some GM program car, supposedly, according to the salesman. Yellow 6 speed(maybe that's when it started. )But I was 19 and insurance was ballparked at over 400 a MONTH so that ship sank.

Exactly. The first ZL1 CE was sn was 100021, the latest I know of is 107834 so they are pumping out a lot of cars in between and they are well into production. His was 116546, maybe I am wrong but that doesn't seem like an early/pre-production VIN?

You probably know more about ZL1 production than I do in regards to if they build them congruently with all the other models or not. His was the 16,546 vin in sequence for that model year from my knowledge. What would make you assume that is a early build?

Opposite that. I'm thinking it was the 6546th Camaro built that year. If it was a Caddy coming off that line the VIN's are 800,000 numbers I believe.
