541 Torque 548HP on a hot summer day with a 100 shoot. Mustang Dyno

NA run 480 - 440 HP with heat soak. I am not totally happy with power numbers but very happy with sound.

You need to tune the FSCM to shut off the start up burst. I turned mine off since it sounded like a rocket taking off and was scaring people in parking lots, lol. Maybe the wife mentioned waking her up a few times also ��

If it does it when shifting, log the data and you’ll prob see the spark advance drop during the shift. Tuner needs to fix that so it doesn’t drop as much and makes for a smoother shift in the end. I’m assuming it’s an A8 since you mentioned trying manual mode. Many things in the tune to fix this stuff.

To install the limiter, do they have to take apart the engine like they did when putting the cam in? If so that would suck because they charged me out the butt to put the cam in 😢😢

Hers a good read and will inform u of the process. It’ should have been done when u changed your cam but just ask your installer if they did install the phaser. Another member above did mention it sounds like your tune possibly. If the cam phaser was not installed I would almost believe that your car would be very hard to tune and not very driveable So rethinking this, it just might be the tune. I am not 100% sure what’s wrong with your car, just giving u my opinion. Something is wrong, take back your car to the last shop that worked on your car just before when it ran fine. That’s what I would do.

It's within the cam gear assembly so they would have to get the front cover off again and all the stuff that goes with it, take the cam phaser/gear off, pop it in. Another tube of gm engine sealant and another cam bolt/valve
