With the only caveat that you must run E60 all the time and fuel mileage will drop by 25% or so. Otherwise, if the OP isn't bothered by those factors, I agree with you, its hard to beat for the money.

The performance drop isn't much as long as it's E40+. So the E content doesn't have to be dead on E60 all the time. E40 is still 100+ octane...I have seen NA SS cars gain +26whp on E46 then only pick up a few HP on E60. FI cars gain double the power vs NA on E. So worse case the car might be down 10whp on E40 opposed to E60. E60 is usually a 50-60whp gain, doesn't cause heat soak vs over spinning a small supercharger.
The fuel mileage hit is offset by lower cost... it's still cheaper to run. It's easy to mix and there is no reason not to run it.

Yes. It’s a 2011 SS with a 427 Dart block LS with a 102mm Garret turbo on methanol “street car”. Still has glass, power seats, radio, etc but with a 7.50 cert cage

Location California, does that mean 'premium' gas is that crap 91 where you are? Can you get E85 in your area?
I agree with KingLT1, E40-50-60 flex tune would help a lot and it would not have heat issues like pulleying will. Plus if 91 is what you have for gas, you are already giving up power even stock, and with a faster-spinning blower it would be even worse, higher IATs and probably lots of KR spoiling the party IMO. |

Haven’t made any passes in her yet. Going to be a lot of work with the traction control as she is a heavy girl. Trying to get into the 7.90s but not sure I can with the car weighing so much. I can’t seem to figure out how to post pictures right now, but I’ll mess around with this latter and see if I can get some up.
